Workshop: Linocut Printmaking with Ned Bustard

In this three-hour workshop, Ned will be guiding participants through the process of designing, carving, and printing a linocut relief block. All materials will be provided; participants will go home with their own block as well as a print of their work.

Open to all participants—no particular art background needed! (ages 16 and up, please.)

Ned Bustard is an award-winning children’s book illustrator, graphic designer, author, and printmaker. Some of the books he has worked on include Saint Nicholas the Giftgiver, It Was Good: Making Art to the Glory of God, Bible History ABCs: God’s Story from A to Z, History of Art: Creation to Contemporary, Revealed: A Storybook Bible for Grown-Ups, The Lost Tales of Sir Galahad, and the Every Moment Holy series. He is the creative director for World’s End Images and Square Halo Books, curates the Square Halo Gallery, is an elder at Wheatland Presbyterian Church, and serves on the boards of the Association of Scholars of Christianity in the History of Art (ASCHA), The Row House, Inc., and the Square Halo Foundation.
