Emmanuel, Come: An Evening of Advent and Christmas Art, Poetry, and Song

To mark the season of Advent, we’ve curated a selection of poems, visual art, and communal hymns that express longing for Christ’s coming into our broken lives and world to make all things new. As we progress through the program, we will move from lament and invocation to hopeful signs of the “budding morrow” to joy and wonder in the Incarnation, whose implications spread “far as the curse is found.” We will close by looking forward together to Christ’s future reign and the full flowering of God’s shalom.
